Over 60 artists will perform at the 2017 Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival driven by Frizelles, May 18-21, 2017.
International superstar BONNIE TYLER, Australian legend IAN MOSS, US act SLIM JIM PHANTOM TRIO, RAY BEADLE, KEVIN BORICH, and CASH SAVAGE AND THE LAST DRINKS are just a few of the big name artists set to play.
With a career spanning four decades, BONNIE TYLER will bring her instantly identifiable voice to the festival in 2017. Bonnie’s music has underscored the lives of generations, with hits like ‘It’s A Heartache’, and ‘Total Eclipse of The Heart’ still among the best-selling singles of all time – Bonnie’s performance at Blues on Broadbeach is one not to be missed.
The free event, staged in the streets and venues of Broadbeach over four huge days, throughout the popular Gold Coast hub will also feature arguably Australia’s best guitarist, IAN MOSS. Moss will bring his unforgettable sound and silken voice returning to the Festival after the widely successful Cold Chisel National tour.
Rounding out the first announcement for the 2017 line-up are The Shane Pacey Trio, Cheap Fakes, Lachy Doley and the Horns of Conviction, Phil Manning, Hussy Hicks, Claude Hay, The Turner Brown Band, The Vibrolators featuring Miss Peta Lee, The Flaming Mudcats (NZ), Blues Arcadia, Ezra Lee, Austin Walkin’ Cane (US) and Little Billy, with more to be announced.
Apart from being free, what is so unique about Blues on Broadbeach is that you can stay in the heart of the festival, and everything is within walking distance.
The festival will celebrate its 16th year in 2017, and organisers Broadbeach Alliance along with major partners Frizelles.com.au, Tourism and Events Queensland and the City of Gold Coast are thrilled that from humble beginnings, the festival has grown to become one the largest music festivals in Australia.
