Dezzie D and the Stingrayz FEVER 7z

Renowned for their tight rhythm and grooves, dynamic vocal and hard hitting Sax hooks Dezzie D and the Stingrayz have become undoubtedly Brisbane's leading bands in Resurrected Rhythm & Blues and with their exciting 7 piece lineup this is certainly a show not to be missed. With the recent CD release 'CRANKED', which has debuted on the Australian Blues and Roots charts, their music has received tremendous support from local, national and international airplay radio stations and streaming sites. Formed in 2013, this rhythm and blues outfit has been performing to audiences throughout South East Queensland. Resurrecting authentic arrangements from the 40s and 50s Americana, jump, swing and rhythm and blues, Dezzie D and the Stingrayz draw their influences from artists such as Ruth Brown, Ann Cole, Etta James, performing renditions of music which encapsulates the swingin' good times that has truly shaped the music industry. These guys hit the stage hard and are blowing audiences away with their upbeat resurrected rhythm and blues style showcase that will have the crowds jumping. With the recent introduction of the full horn section, this has pushed the band to a whole new level and will put the audience sensors into overdrive. Their onstage presence, energy, passion and power-house performances will have you leaping out of your skin and transporting you back to "the era of rhythm and blues".
