The Satellites

The Satellites are undoubtedly one of Australia’s finest rockabilly and roots acts around. They are a talented and enthusiastic mix of musicians, and songwriters dedicated to REAL rock music.
Belinda’s distinctive vocal style and solid rhythm guitar is one of the driving forces of this act. Weather belting out a wild 50’s flavoured rockabilly tune or delivering a sultry and sweet ballad, you’ll be amazed at how authentic and captivating it is to be part of the show.
Steve M’s solid pounding bass and energetic performance coupled with his gravely vocal tones makes for the perfect complement to a solid line up of performers.
Lee keeps the whole thing together with his tight and snappy rhythms on the drums. He’s performed with many great acts and can belt out the coolest of rhythms that would make the likes of Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich proud!
Steve G is the tone that shapes their sound. From screaming guitar solos (ala Brian Setzer style), to his unbelievable cool and mellow sound that you would swear was coming straight out of a vintage pedal steel. Steve’s talents are unmistakable and a joy to hear.
Together you have the best line up of The Satellites since their inception way back in 1994.
The Satellites continue to work with high profile acts including; Chris Isaak, The Stray Cats, Wanda Jackson, Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, Big Sandy, John Butler Trio, Slim Jim (ex Stray Cats) Marti Brom, Necromanix, Chain, Royal Crown Review, The Fireballs, Cherry Poppin Daddies and many more.
