WHERE IS THE BLUES ON BROADBEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL?

The Festival is located throughout the Broadbeach CBD on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Can I bring alcohol to Blues on Broadbeach?

No. The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is an unlicensed event. The only place alcohol can be consumed is in the licenced venues.

Will I be able to buy alcohol at Blues on Broadbeach?

Only in licenced venues and this alcohol cannot be taken out of the licensed venues

Are there any age restrictions?

Some venues may have age restrictions you will need to check with the individual venue. However the outdoor stages are for all ages.

Will there be safety and security?

Yes

What accommodation options are available in the Broadbeach area?

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is situated in the heart of the Broadbeach CBD with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, fast food and supermarkets to suit everyone’s taste buds.

does the festival accept food vendors?

As our Festival operates in a fully functioning CBD precinct with a multitude of food types and options, we do not require any additional external catering, food and beverage stalls or vendors.

does the festival accept market stalls?

Due to the footprint required for the event infrastructure and patrons we are unable to offer any market stall areas throughout the event. We do however work closely with Art & Craft on the Coast who host markets in Kurrawa Park over the Saturday and Sunday of the event. Contact them directly to inquire about being involved over that weekend. Please be aware that those markets normally sell out of space months before the event so there is no guarantee that there will be space available.

Do i need a ticket to attend Blues on Broadbeach?

No. You do not need a ticket to attend the festival, Blues on Broadbeach is a free-to-attend event.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND ANY OF THE SHOWS blues on BROADBEACHMUSIC FESTIVAL?

Inside the CBD area there are no tickets required to any of the stages or venues, it is simply ‘first in best dressed’ as to where you may stand.

However, The Star Gold Coast will be hosting a TICKETED show during the Festival. The tickets will be FREE but will need to be collected from The Star  Box Office at the disclosed time.

HOW CAN I ATTEND THE RUSSELL MORRIS SHOW AT THE STAR GOLD COAST?

The Star Gold Coast will be bringing Russell Morris to Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival this year!

The show is completely FREE however it is ticketed. The first release of tickets will be available from Friday May 12 until allocation is exhausted, with the second and final release available from Thursday May 18. The Box Office at The Star Gold Coast will offer the extended trading hours of 9.00am – 7.00pm on both release days, but tickets are limited so get in early!

Tickets must be collected in person from The Box Office at The Star Gold Coast. Limit two tickets per person. Purchaser must be 18 years or older.

ARE THERE SEATS AT ANY OF THE STAGES?

There are a small amount of seats available at the Broadbeach Mall Stage only, if seats are required you are more than welcome to bring your own. There are also seats available in most venues where artists are playing.

AM I ABLE TO BRING MY OWN CHAIR TO THE STAGES?

Yes feel free to bring your own chairs to any of the outdoor stages. However as it enters later into the afternoon for headline performances people may be asked to move their seats away from the front of the stage due to capacity crowds.

HOW DO I GET IN TO THE FESTIVAL?

The festival is in the completely open CBD area of Broadbeach, with no fences around the area or stages.

ARE THERE PUBLIC TOILETS?

There are several public toilets located throughout the festival including in The Oasis Shopping Centre, Niecon Plaza and in venues.

Is there anything for kids to do?

Yes, Blues on Broadbeach is a family-friendly music event for all ages but there is also carousel rides for children as well as art & craft markets.

Is smoking allowed at the festival?

Standard Smoking laws apply, 4 metres away from all buildings. However it is a public space and in open areas within the law patrons are able to smoke.
