The 2008 Blues on Broadbeach music festival May 29 to June 1 is set for a huge year with the entire Broadbeach precinct getting into the village blues atmosphere.

Since its inception in 2002 the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival has attracted over 200,000 people making this a world class event.

Transcending the barriers of age, gender and culture it is one of Australia's most iconic Blues Festivals.

The 2008 Festival promises to be the first of its kind feeding on the unique village-like atmosphere and relaxed ambience that is Broadbeach, a picturesque setting for a Blues Festival.

There is a stellar line up of blues all-stars in 2008 with a strong focus on the Australian performers, set for release in just a few weeks time.
