Don Bryant & The Bo-Keys

Don Bryant began singing when he joined his father’s family vocal group at 5 years old. His professional career kicked off when the gospel quartet he formed during high school began fronting Willie Mitchell’s band.

Don then started to write songs for Willie Mitchell’s Hi Records label, including ‘That Driving Beat’, ‘Don’t Turn Your Back On Me’ and ‘99 Lbs’ for his future wife, Ann Peebles. After being invited to perform with Memphis-based The Bo-Keys, Don returned to the studio and released Don’t Give Up on Love in 2016 as Don Bryant & The Bo-Keys.
