Embodying the vintage sound of early blues greats, Frank Sultana is a modern-day Australian bluesman. His authentic take on Mississippi Delta blues has gained international attention, including winning the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge in 2023. Frank has graced festival stages worldwide and released his acclaimed album “The Ghosts of Sun” in 2023. Whether on a festival stage or in a juke joint in Mississippi, Frank delivers gritty, authentic blues performance.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
