Holy Smokes! Organ Trio is a bluesy, jazzy, funky powerhouse, breathing new life into the Nashville and New Orleans songbook. Featuring Benjamin Van Jole’s electrifying keys, ‘Stormin’ Steve Powell’s rock-solid grooves on drums, and Nathan Leonard’s soulful guitar and vocals, this trio delivers a high-energy, authentic Americana experience.
Blending sizzling jazz, deep blues, and swampy funk, Holy Smokes! represents the next generation of blues and roots musicians. Whether laying down a fiery groove or weaving through rich improvisations, their performances are a captivating, toe-tapping ride through the heart of American roots music.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast.
