Matt Katsis, a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Melbourne, has spent over ten years sharing his blues, roots, and folk-stirred sounds internationally. From early busking days to festival performances, Katsis blends traditional genres with a distinctly modern sound across his songwriting, recording and live approach. His EP “The Burke & Wills Sessions” received warm welcome in North America & Canada, while his second album, “Transits” and singles “Bones” and “The Front Page” have continued to showcase his evolving style.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
