Nikolaine has been bringing fat rhythmic riffs and chops consistently to the east coast and beyond for over 20 years. Their sound is Multi-instrumental, Jazz-infused Blues and Roots, with country rock tendencies, and is set to grace the Blues on Broadbeach stage for the first time ever.
A proud Trans indie artist, a unique raw stage presence and prodigious vocals to match. Regarded as an improv extraordinaire, keeping the audience on their toes is all part of the show. An original organic musician and band in-tow, so get ready to throw the rule book out the window. Throughout 2020, he has continued performing online via his Facebook page and in venues with his band and going solo in and around Brisbane. With a wide variance of influences which include local east coast acts Marshall Okell and Hussy Hicks, to international names as Jon Cleary and Ray Charles to name a few. Growing up in the northern rivers and having taken their music from the back streets of Byron to London town with an album on the way, Nikolaine Martin is not looking at stopping anytime soon.
