What do you get when you combine soulful folk with alternative blues and a dash of the percussive? One answer: Patrik Williams.
Armed with his acoustic guitars ‘Django and Lily’, along with his smooth vocals, he delivers a truly breathtaking performance that’s guaranteed to blow you away.
From a young age, Patrik loved entertaining, and was always surrounded by music within his family, where he often found himself jamming with his sisters to classic rock tunes. Later in his life, he became familiar with classical and virtuosic music, which became the foundation for his unique percussive playing style. Patrik manages to capture the catchy lyrics and riffs of bands such as Bastille and The Black Keys whilst mixing it with the advanced guitar work of artists like Tommy Emmanuel and Daniel Champagne.
Patrik has developed his own perspective on the percussive acoustic genre and has started making a name for himself across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with performances at the EKKA, QPAC’s Green jam, and Schoolies to name a few.
Patrik strives to engage with his audiences in a truly meaningful way, with a happy and joyful persona to delight all. Patrik is a true world class performer in the making, and a must-see artist at this year’s Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival!
