Taya Chani is an Australian singer, guitarist, songwriter and recording artist. She travels easily through many genres like Blues, Soul, Americana, Rock and RnB and loves every destination within her musical landscape. A dynamic and rhythmic guitar player, Taya delivers a genuine and comforting presence. When Taya fronts a band, her dynamics, showmanship and strength shines through. Her debut album “Restless Heart” was released 2019 and reached number seven on the Australian Blues Charts.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
