Vika & Linda, after three albums with The Black Sorrows, have released eight studio albums, two live albums, and a chart-topping anthology. They’ve sung on number one albums by Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, and John Farnham. In 2022, they received the Medal of the Order of Australia for their service to the performing arts. Their album “The Wait” debuted at number two in 2021, marking their third Top 3 album in 15 months. Vika & Linda have traversed rock, country, gospel, reggae, R&B, soul and blues, as well as paying tribute to their rich Tongan heritage
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
