Covid-19 safety

General COVID-19 Event Statement

A COVID Safe event plan for Blues on Broadbeach 2021 has been lodged. We will update you as soon as we can with further information regarding our plans for a COVID Safe experience.

The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority and we are committed to delivering a COVID Safe event in 2021.

In the event that Queensland’s restrictions change and impact the delivery of this event, we will keep you updated via our website and social media channels.

FAQs

It will come as no surprise that, due to social distancing restrictions, Blues on Broadbeach will look slightly different in 2021. But that won’t stop us from bringing Blues music back to Broadbeach as you know and love it!

We will be guided by the Queensland Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time as to how we can deliver the event. If restrictions change any modifications to the programming and format of the event will be announced via social media and our website.

The safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority which is why we are working to ensure that our COVID Safe plan adheres to Queensland Government’s COVID-19 restrictions.

For any patrons attending the festival, we will ask that if you are feeling unwell or have any flu-like symptoms, to not attend the event and visit your GP immediately. We will also ask that you respect the social distancing guidelines in place at the time and stay hygienic when using facilities where possible.

Any additional information regarding the festival’s COVID Safe plan will become available via our website and social media channels.

The safety of our attendees, volunteers and team will always be our top priority and we will continue to monitor COVID-19 regulations to ensure our event complies at all times.

However, as the festival does not take place until May 2021, restrictions are likely to change between now and then. We have made some modifications to the event to align with the current restrictions for 2021.

Rest assured, we are working very hard to bring Blues on Broadbeach back and deliver the COVID Safe version of our festival in 2021!

The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team will always be our top priority. We currently plan on delivering Blues on Broadbeach in 2021. We have lodged our COVID Safe event plan and have put measures in place for 2021 to ensure our event complies with regulations.

After not having Blues on Broadbeach since May 2019, it makes sense that we have heard that Broadbeach is starting to book out for the weekend of Blues on Broadbeach 2021.

If you are looking at accommodation options, we do recommend securing your preferred accommodation experience sooner rather than later. We also recommend enquiring about the refund/cancellation policy prior to making a booking – policies are becoming more flexible in these uncertain and ever-changing times.

Unfortunately, any border restrictions that are in place at the time of the event will be out of our control. We will keep you informed on any modifications required to the programming and format of the event if any borders are closed.

We plan to see Blues on Broadbeach go ahead in 2021. However, given these uncertain and ever-changing times, it is hard to know what is ahead.

We highly recommend enquiring about the potential to refund, cancel or roll over your accommodation for 2022 prior to making any bookings for this event, as any bookings made are at the discretion of the individual.

Currently there are a few plans in place for a combination of seating options, depending on the restrictions at the time of the event.

We are currently working towards hosting some international artists at Blues on Broadbeach in 2021. However, we will be guided by Queensland Government regulations and travel restrictions as to whether this is possible at the time of the event. Regardless of border restrictions, there are plenty of local Australian talent that will be showcased at our event as always.
