Welcome

Message from the Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate.

Hey Gold Coasters … get up, slip on your suede shoes and get down to Broadbeach for Blues on Broadbeach 2021.

The line-up is the best we’ve ever seen – from The Lachy Doley Group to 19-Twenty and Wolfmother.

When it comes to live and loud… it’s all happening on the Goldie.

See you there!

Message from the Minister for Tourism Industry Development and Innovation and Minister for Sport. The Hon. Stirling Hinchliffe MP.

Welcome to Blues on Broadbeach, a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Gold Coast’s local culture and community, and hopefully explore some of the superb tourism experiences on offer here.

The impacts of the pandemic have provided incredible challenges, but thanks to the hard work of Queenslanders our state was one of the first to put in place a COVID Safe Event Framework which paved the way for events such as this one to take place.

The Queensland Government is proud to support Blues on Broadbeach, through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Major Event program and it is a feature on our It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar. Events are an important part of our state’s economic recovery from the pandemic because they attract visitors to the region which stimulates the local economy and supports local jobs. Events are also an important opportunity for communities, friends, families and visitors to come together, creating community pride and reconnecting us.

Congratulations to the event organisers and all those involved in organising this event – may it be a successful one.

If you are visiting for the event, I encourage you to make some time to explore the diverse tourism experiences on offer in this beautiful region.

Message from the CEO of Major Events Gold Coast, Jan McCormick.

After a hiatus on live music for far longer than what we had hoped we are so excited to welcome Blues on Broadbeach back to the Gold Coast in 2021.

Planning and getting ready to deliver an event during these unprecedented times has been no easy task, but the commitment and support from our strategic partners, City of Gold Coast and Tourism Events Queensland, our major partners, Network Ten, WINGMAN and Oracle Boulevard, our media partners 92.5 Triple M and WIN Network, our supporting partner, Beyond Blue, our suppliers and our extremely dedicated team at Major Events Gold Coast has made it possible.

Produced by Major Events Gold Coast, Blues on Broadbeach is one of the largest free music festivals in Australia and we are thrilled to have such a high calibre of amazing Blues artists and musicians returning this year.

I would like to wish all visitors, artists, and musicians an amazing festival experience as we get set to hear some incredible, FREE, live music over four action packed days. To our loyal fans who return each year, thank you! We are thrilled to welcome you back again in 2021.

While visiting I encourage you to explore and experience all that the Gold Coast has to offer. From tantalising dining options to pristine beaches and attractions to suit the young and young at heart, the Gold Coast has it all.

Wait, Before you go!
