Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival started in
May 2002 and is one of Australia’s
largest free music festivals
Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is held in Broadbeach, Gold Coast and celebrated its 21st annual festival in 2022 since commencing in 2002.
Showcasing authentic Blues music over 4 full days and nights, Broadbeach is home to one of Australia’s most respected Blues music festivals.
The festival features multiple stages and venues across the precinct that are generally non-ticketed to attend.
Fans can expect to see a range of Blues-inspired music, whilst wandering through a precinct full of restaurants, cafes and bars to satisfy any food lovers cravings.
The beauty of Blues on Broadbeach is the host of accommodation options that give fans the opportunity to stay within the heart of the festival, with live music at their doorstep.

Blues on Broadbeach has been a highly respected music festival in the Broadbeach precinct for 21 years. With a pivot in 2020 due to the global pandemic, Blues on Broadbeach is now returning in it’s full entirety in 2022. Since 2020, Major Events Gold Coast proudly produces Blues on Broadbeach.
MEGC’s charter is to develop a portfolio of events and festivals which will attract the overnight drive market from Brisbane and the interstate traveller wishing to come to the Gold Coast for an event or festival ultimately generating Visitor Nights and promotion of our destination, as an events and festivals hub.
MEGC is committed to hosting environmentally responsible events, as such we work very closely with event partners to plan and implement festivals which reflect green event best practices.
