Broadbeach, the home of Blues on Broadbeach, is centrally located on the Gold Coast and is easy to get to no matter where you are coming from. There are plenty of Broadbeach accommodation options available and all within walking distance of the stages and venues!

Getting here for locals

The City of Gold Coast encourages all Gold Coast residents and visitors to leave the car at home and make active travel part of their daily routine. The program promotes and encourages active and healthy forms of transport including walking, cycling, carpooling and public transport. Walking, catching public transport and carpooling are great ways to actively travel in our city. You may even consider driving part of the way or combining public transport with your ride or walk. There are also plenty of bike racks located throughout the precinct so you can cycle into the event.

The G:link Light Rail is now operating throughout the Gold Coast, connecting Broadbeach to Surfers Parade, Southport and the Gold Coast University Hospital with 16 station stops.

There are two stations located in Broadbeach including Broadbeach South located out the front of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and Broadbeach North in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast Highway. Broadbeach North is within walking distance to the centre of Broadbeach including the Broadbeach Mall, Surf Parade, the Oasis Shopping Centre and Kurrawa Beach.

If you are travelling from the Southern end of the Coast, such as Coolangatta, you will need to catch the bus from the dry side of the highway and hop off at the Broadbeach South Tram Station Bus Interchange. If you are travelling from Surfers Paradise or further north you can now catch the G:Link.

Travelling from interstate

The Gold Coast International Airport is located just 18 kilometres south of Broadbeach. A range of carriers fly directly into the airport currently including Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Tiger Airways, Air New Zealand, Air Asia, Qantas and Scoot. There is a conveniently located information desk at the airport to assist in getting you to your destination.

Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle operates from the airport and will provide door-to-door service, making the journey just that bit easier. Bookings can be made on their website:

Parking options

There are plenty of parking options in Broadbeach with a lot of Public Car Parks in the precinct for those looking to park at the festival. 

Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (entrance via the Gold Coast Highway)

Oasis Shopping Centre Car Park (entrance via Charles Ave) 

Oracle (Entry via Elizabeth Avenue)

Phoenician Car Park (entrance via Main Place Laneway)

As well as alternate options including along the streets including Charles Avenue, Elizabeth Avenue and Old Burleigh Road.

There are also multiple disabled options on the streets surrounding Broadbeach including Old Burleigh Road, Queensland Avenue, Charles Avenue, Gold Coast Service Road.  As well as the above options provided.

It is recommended to use public transport to get to Blues on Broadbeach. Car parks are available in the surrounding area however during peak periods this may be limited.
