As one of four festivals proudly produced by EGC, Blues on Broadbeach has established itself as an award-winning blues music festival that has been running for over 20 years. Other events produced by EGC include Cooly Rocks On, SPRINGTIME and Groundwater Country Music Festival. EGC also collaborates with event organisers to support the delivery of a vibrant festival and event culture here on the Gold Coast.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government and the state’s lead marketing, tourism experience and destination development and major events agency. TEQ aims to build Queensland’s tourism and events industry to foster innovation, drive industry growth and boost visitor expenditure.

CHARITY PARTNER

Cancer Council Queensland is here to make sure no Queenslander faces cancer alone. We conduct cancer research, deliver prevention initiatives and provide support services to those touched by cancer.


As Blues on Broadbeach’s official Charity Partner, Cancer Council Queensland is passionate about helping festivalgoers make small lifestyle changes that have a big impact on their cancer risk.


With festival fans coming from far and wide to spend some time in the Gold Coast sun, there’s no better opportunity for Cancer Council to teach people of all ages how to protect themselves from those harmful UV rays. That’s why  they’ll be onsite throughout the event helping festivalgoers slip, slop, slap, seek, and slide!
