Alex Kosenko is a powerhouse independent artist from Brisbane, blending Australian Blues Rock and Roots with a dynamic electric edge. His high-energy one-man band performances—featuring stomping rhythms, soulful vocals, searing harmonica, and bluesy acoustic-electric guitar—have captivated audiences nationwide.
From busking the streets to major festival stages, Alex has rapidly built a reputation, performing at Bluesfest Byron Bay, Gympie Music Muster, and Airlie Beach Festival. He’s shared stages with Jon Stevens, Screaming Jets, and Russell Morris. Following his hit single Big Smoke, he’s now set to release his debut live-in-studio album, backed by an Australian and international tour.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
