Two of Australia’s most respected blues musicians have joined together in a project that preserves the origins of blues music. Nathan Beretta and Dan Sullivan draw influence from some of the masters of the genre – Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins, Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson. The act incorporates guitar and harmonica to transform listeners back to the sharecropping times of the delta in the USA pre and post WWII.
Blues on Broadbeach proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our events are held, the Kombumerri and Yugambeh Language Group families of the Gold Coast. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters, wildlife and extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
