Robbie Karena has spent 35 years bending jazz and blues into new shapes across Australia and New Zealand. With influences from George Benson to Robben Ford, his smooth jazz meets blues style has anchored numerous albums, including his solo release Good to See Ya (2018). Regular residencies at popular Gold Coast/Brisbane haunts showcase his fluid, expressive playing. His upcoming album Have You Not Heard? spans funk, gospel, rock, blues and late night ballads, Karena at full creative stretch.
