Originally from Barraganyatti, NSW, Sam left home at 18 to pursue a Blues career. He spent 26 years in Sydney and Melbourne, playing in top bands and touring internationally. As lead guitarist in Dreamboogie, he reached the 2016 International Blues Challenge semi-finals and won 2018 Band of the Year. In 2020, he launched his solo act, Sam Buckley, and created his debut album with Blues legend Lester Snell. His singles hit AMRAP’s Top 10. He’s had global airplay, supported major artists, and performed at key festivals. Don’t miss Sam Buckley when he takes to the stage at Blues on Broadbeach!
