Widely regarded as one of the best blues guitarists in the world, Eric Gales will be showcasing his blistering talent at Blues on Broadbeach for the first time in 2025, thanks to Memphis Tourism.
Eric first picked up a guitar at age four, and despite being right-handed, was taught by his left-handed big brother and learnt to play the instrument upside down. 45 years, 19 albums and countless gigs later, he consistently stuns audiences with his gravelly vocals, musical prowess and unshakeable stage presence.
He’s been nominated for a Grammy award, has shared the stage with legends like Carlos Santana and plays the kind of guitar solos that make the hairs on your arms stand up. It’s not just music you hear, but music you feel.
