Ruthie Foster
Grammy Award winner Ruthie Foster is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter whose music sits at the crossroads of blues, gospel, soul, and folk. Raised in rural Texas and shaped by the sounds of church choirs and classic blues women, she brings a rare warmth and spiritual depth to every performance. With her commanding voice, uplifting songwriting, and magnetic stage presence, Foster has earned multiple Blues Music Awards and Grammy nominations while building a global following. Whether singing a tender ballad or a fiery blues anthem, she channels strength, joy, and authenticity. Ruthie is the kind of artist who leaves audiences feeling transformed.
Robert Finley
Robert Finley is one of the most soulful voices to emerge in modern blues – a late-blooming powerhouse whose music is raw, real, and unmistakably lived-in. Raised in rural Louisiana, Finley spent decades working as a carpenter and playing small gigs before his stunning rediscovery in his 60s. With a voice that blends gospel fire, blues grit, and Southern soul, he delivers songs shaped by a lifetime of struggle, resilience, and joy. Since teaming up with producer Dan Auerbach, Finley has released critically acclaimed albums and electrified stages worldwide, proving that true blues artistry only gets richer with time.
The Lachy Doley Trio
Lachy Doley is a world-renowned keyboardist and vocalist whose high-voltage performances have earned him the title “The Jimi Hendrix of the keyboard.” Armed with his Whammy Clavinet and roaring organ tones, Doley brings an explosive, high-energy sound that blurs the lines between blues, funk, and rock. With a rhythm section that hits just as hard, the trio has built a global following through electrifying live performances and viral videos showcasing Doley’s charismatic keyboard solos and passionate performances. After a sold-out US tour, Lachy returns to Broadbeach with his trio, bringing a show that promises pure energy, passion, and groove.
Kevin Borich Express
Kevin Borich Express is an electrifying force in Australian blues-rock, driven by the fiery guitar work and soulful vocals of Kevin Borich. Emerging in the mid-’70s, the trio quickly became known for their high-energy shows, searing solos and raw, roots-powered sound. Twice voted Best Australian Rock Guitarist, Kevin and his Express Band – Jon Carson and Chris Gilbert – prove that three musicians can still shake the walls. These guys first appeared at Blues on Broadbeach in 2002, and we are thrilled to welcome them back for some authentic, hard-hitting blues rock.
